Where clay comes from
Mira, an apprentice potter, walks to the riverbank with Master Odu to fetch clay. Check what she has learned.
Getting the clay ready
Master Odu has a heap of raw clay by the workshop door. Put the steps of preparing it in order.
Shaping and drying
Mira is ready to make her first pot. Help her choose well while it takes shape and dries.
The day of the firing
Today Master Odu fires a kiln full of pots. Watch the workshop and tap what is not right.
What pots were for
In the museum room of Little Kiln Town, six old pots wait on a shelf. Sort them by the job they did.
Shards, mending and reuse
Tomás finds a broken piece of an old pot in a field, then comes back to the workshop with a cracked bowl. Help him choose.
