Tools that built our world — Smiths · The Makers
The Emberhollow smithy gets three visitors: a house builder, a ship builder and a boy who wants to learn. Answer wisely for each.
Your task
Pick the best choice at each step.
- Metal axes, saws, hammers and nails helped people build homes, ships and whole cities. Old metal can be melted and made again.
- Invented guild stories to learn from. Never try fire, hot metal, glass, blades or power tools on your own: crafts like these are learned with a trained adult.
- Every craft came from many people in many places. Nothing about you is collected.
Score
- Craft knowledge — You understood how this craft works.
- Making it well — You put the steps in a sensible order and used the right tools.
- Care for people & planet — You kept people safe and used materials wisely.
In real life
Recycling metal uses much less energy than making it fresh from ore.
Smiths
The guild stories are invented, to learn from. Fire, heat, blades and tools are only for trained adults: learn these crafts with a trained adult, never at home. Nothing about you is collected; progress stays on this device.
