Free Will — are your choices yours?
Every choice you make comes out of a brain built by genes and shaped by everything that happened to you. So when you decide, is it really you deciding — or the universe running its next step? The question is not word games: it sits underneath praise, blame, punishment and pride.
Consciousness — why anything feels
Science can explain how your brain detects red light and reports the word red. What it has not explained is why any of that comes with an experience — why there is something it is like to see red at all. That gap has a name, and it is the deepest unsolved question about our own minds.
AI Ethics — who answers for the machine
AI systems now help decide who gets a loan, which job application is read, what you see all day and sometimes what a doctor is told. Every one of those is a decision that used to have a person attached to it. AI ethics is the argument about which of those handovers are good, which are dangerous, and who is answerable when one goes wrong.
Truth — how you know what’s real
Truth sounds like the simplest word here until you try to define it. Philosophers have offered several accounts, and in daily life the harder question is not what truth is but how you tell, at speed, whether a specific claim deserves your belief. That second skill can be learned, and it is one of the most useful things you will ever pick up.
The Meaning of Life — the question under the rest
People ask what life means and get back several completely different kinds of answer, all offered sincerely. Some are religious, some are secular, some deny the question has an answer at all and then explain how to live anyway. This page will not choose for you — but it is worth knowing what the serious options actually say.
