Put in order · ~3 min
Your role
You're the data analyst (in this game).
Your goal
Trustworthy numbers, with nothing lost by accident.
What you know
- Problems: some members appear twice; ages like '200'; dates in two formats.
Limits
- Never edit the original file.
Success looks like
- Keep original — You can always go back.
- Clean — Duplicates and errors handled.
- Document — Others can check your work.
Skills you used
- Debugging — Finding what's wrong and why.
- Responsibility — Knowing when to act and when to ask for help.
In real life
Analysts often spend more time cleaning data than analysing it. Keeping the original and logging changes means anyone can check — and trust — the results.
