Fairness means using a rule that gives people a reasonable chance, while noticing differences that matter.

Responsibility means recognising your part in a choice and helping to put right the harm it caused.

Good intentions do not erase harm
We can mean well and still cause a problem. Ethical action means noticing the effect on others, not judging a choice only by what we intended.
Caring for shared places and living things
A park, classroom, street or river is used by many people and living things. Caring for it means considering needs that are not only our own.
Do not judge people by stereotypes
A label can hide the real person. Fair choices begin when we meet people as individuals instead of guessing what they can do or like.
Finding a fair compromise
A disagreement does not need a winner and a loser. A compromise looks for a plan that respects what matters to each person, without pretending every choice can satisfy everyone completely.
Give credit to people who helped
A finished piece of work often has more than one person behind it. Naming helpers is a way of telling the truth about the work and making cooperation worth doing again.
Rules need good reasons
Rules can protect people and make shared life possible, but a rule is not automatically right just because it is old or powerful. Understanding its purpose helps us follow good rules and question harmful ones safely.
Fair play when no one is watching
Doing the right thing in a game still matters when there is no referee nearby.
Kindness is not a trade
Helping someone is kind when it is not secretly a demand for a reward.
Loyalty does not mean hiding harm
Being a friend includes caring about what happens, not protecting every bad choice made by a friend.
