Where Does Coffee Grow?

Coffee grown by each country, from 1961 to 2024

Coffee beans are the seeds inside a small red fruit called a cherry. The plants grow in warm, high places near the Equator.
Brazil has been first almost every year and in 2024 grew about 3.4 million tonnes. Vietnam is now second, with about 2 million.
These numbers are for green coffee, before roasting. Roasting makes the beans lose water and weight.
