Your role

Your goal
Find what is unverified or unfair before publishing.
What you know
- A reverse image search shows the flood photo was first published in 2019, in another country.
Limits
- Don't flag sentences that are confirmed by an official source.
Success looks like
- Verified — Only checked facts and images.
- Protect people — No one vulnerable was exposed.
- Precise — Numbers have a source.
Skills you used
- Vigilance — Noticing warning signs early.
- Responsibility — Knowing when to act and when to ask for help.
In real life
Newsrooms verify images with reverse search and metadata, and follow codes of conduct that protect children's identities. A fast mistake can travel further than a slow correction.
