From orchard to fruit bowl — Market Hall · Demand & Supply
Nobody at the Market Hall picked the plums themselves. Free Demand & Supply game on MyLeoNes for ages 7–17; not financial advice.
Your task
Put the plums' journey in order.
- People in the middle, like collectors, packers and drivers, are sometimes called middlemen. They add value by sorting, moving and selling, and they are paid for that work.
- Invented stories to learn from. Prices and shops in them are made up, and this is not financial advice. Ask a trusted adult before buying or selling anything for real.
- Never share personal or payment details online. Nothing about you is collected.
Score
- Understanding trade — You understood how this part of trade works.
- Wise choices — You weighed your options before choosing.
- Fair play — You treated buyers and sellers fairly.
In real life
Real food chains can be longer or shorter. Farmers' markets cut out some middle steps, while big shops often use many. Every step should be paid fairly, including the grower.
