Needs or wants? — Wise Choices · Demand & Supply
Lia is making a list for the Saturday market. She wants to know what comes first. Free Demand & Supply game on MyLeoNes for ages 7–17; not financial advice.
Your task
Sort each thing into need or want.
- A need is something you must have to be healthy and safe. A want is nice to have but you can live without it.
- Invented stories to learn from. Prices and shops in them are made up, and this is not financial advice. Ask a trusted adult before buying or selling anything for real.
- Never share personal or payment details online. Nothing about you is collected.
Score
- Understanding trade — You understood how this part of trade works.
- Wise choices — You weighed your options before choosing.
- Fair play — You treated buyers and sellers fairly.
In real life
Needs and wants can overlap: a coat is a need, but a coat with sparkles is partly a want.
Wise Choices
