What can we learn?
- The men's World Cup is played every four years. It was not played in 1942 and 1946 because of the Second World War.
- Brazil has won five times, the most. Germany and Italy have four titles each and Argentina three. West Germany's wins count for Germany.
- Only eight countries have ever won it: five from Europe and three from South America, even though more than 200 teams try to qualify.
